Default Easy lift bike stands

I received a lift stand for Christmas a few weeks ago from a PAL and I love it. This lift stand is well made and seems like it will last forever mine is powder coated and seems to be chip resistant. I weigh about 150lbs and I just stand on the lever up goes my XR 400. I think it is the same lift stand that will be given away on this sight. It is made by a guy in Dallas, TX. I will find out where my buddy got it and post that when I get it.

Yes, you have the "Easy Lift Bike Stand" It really is great. I can lift both wheels completly off the ground and it is still really stable. They can be purchased through this site. It just so happens a really nice guy that helps everyone that visits this site makes them. If you are looking for a stand to last you for ever this would be the one. If you are looking for a POS that will fail you when you need it most do NOT purchase the "Easy Lift Bike Stand".

I can attest to that fact! I bought one made by Ocelot and the first time I had it out in the dirt, one of the aluminum legs bent and that caused the top portion of the stand to bend also. Now I have a 40 dollar piece of junk in the corner of my garage. Works great on flat concrete surfaces!

I don't own that stand, but it doesn look really nice.

However, IMOP, I don't know that I like the Flat legs that it has. In the dirt or any uneven surface it seems like it would be less stable and tend to rock back and forth more than one with 4 distinct legs.

Do you find this to be the case or is it actually better?

I have used it a couple of times in the dirt and had no problems. of course you need a fairly clean spot to put it. I understand what you are saying but I think the flat legs work better. Four individual legs would tend to "dig in" If the ground under one leg is softer then the others it would sink farther and faster then the others. We all know what would then happen. Just my opinion
