Default 2005 YZ 250, MD

Make/Model: 2005 Yamaha YZ 250
Location: Woodbine, Maryland
Condition: Excellent
Asking: 5,100

Mods:
Pro Circuit Platinum 2
Pro Circuit R-304 Silencer
Pro Taper Pastranna FMX Bars
Tusk 1 1/8 bar adapters
Pro Taper Pad
Pro Taper Grips
SideWinder Sprockets and Chain: Titanium
Kenda Millvilles
Ready Filter
Attack MX backgrounds

Condition:

Bike has never been raced, and has been maintained meticulously. Filter cleaned every 3 rides, or after a dusty ride. Transmission oil changed every 3 rides. Linkage and swing arm pivot was taken apart the weekend after the bike was bought, and cleaned and relubed. Bike has approximately 30 hours, if that.(no hour meter, just really close guess) Bike has seen the track twice, all other times ridden at either my small woods course or at friends woods course.(Went to state park once too.) Bike starts first kick, motor is strong. Bike handles great.

Problems:

No problems, only small scratch on front fender and small white mark on right shroud. Only noticeable from looking at bike close up. Boot rub marks on clutch cover...none of these really problems, just don't want to act like im hiding anything with this bike.

Shipping: Contact me about it first, never have shipped a bike before, buyer pays for shipping.

Contact: Email: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ,I prefer to be contacted through email rather than PM, as I check my email more often than PM. Once emailed we can keep in touch by phone, I just don't want to post my phone number on a public forum.

Reason for sale: Moving up to 450

Status of bike: Bike will come as pictured, except for the SDG seat. Stock seat will replace SDG seat, unless buyer suggests other wise. 70 $ more for SDG with bike. Bike needs nothing, ready to ride or race if you would like to. Fresh fluids and clean air filter is the current status of the bike.

Brand new 06 is MSRP at 6,200. MSRP for the 05 was 6,100.

Basically your getting a 05 for 1,000 dollars off thats got 30 hours on it. I personally thinks its a good deal.

If some one is interested, and they think they want to bargain they can email me or PM.

If your not interested, and just here to haggle with me on the price then...

I guess I could throw it back to stock and ask 4,500. But pipe, bars, and sprockets and chain are all in great shape and those are easily worth 500$. (Pipe and silencer was 300, and chain and sprocket was 200)

Do I look like a dealer...also, I know for sure dealers are not letting 05 YZ 250's go for 4,570.

Like previously said, contact me and maybe we could work a deal. But asking price is 5,100.

KLX are you interested in my bike or just trying to piss me off?

Ok, well thanks for just posting in my thread trying to lower the price of me selling something that you don't even want. I will make sure to return the favor to you sometime.

Yes 2 strokes are going for cheap here as well, mostly the 125 market is getting hurt the worst, but the 250 as well.

Im keeping 5,100 as my starting price. Not saying I can't work with that, its just my starting price. I never put 5,100 FIRM or anything. Its a better plan to start high and if some one wants to bargain and make a deal, let them, instead to start low, then some one thinks your bike is ****ty cause you list it for cheap and people still try and bargain with you anyway.

Just try and stay out of the clasifieds peoples threads unless your interested, or want to say, Nice bike or something next time klx rider.

Now back on topic...

I think he's trying to piss you off.

A years' worth of depreciation (sp?) will usually outweigh the money spent add-on parts though. For that matter, you can roll a brand new bike out one door of a dealership and back in another and they won't give YOU what you just bought it for. Still, its your bike and your asking price. Supply and demand play a role too. If the market isn't flooded with YZ250's in your area and the demand for them is above average, I don't see why you couldn't get that price for your bike. After all, you don't have to settle for less!

Awesome looking bike BTW. If I had the $$$ I'd buy it! Hope you find a buyer soon.
