Default shin guards

Question from a 'newbie':

Do you folks wear your shin guards under the boot or over the boot?

I don't even own a pair yet . . . so, just curious.

Thanx,

HB

Im not sure Ive ever heard of anyone wearing shin guards. Usually the boot itself will protect the shins. You are wearing tall MX boots and not some sort of work boot, right?

Definitely under / inside the boot!

Doc, EVS makes a combo shin and knee guard / cup that velcros behind the calf. Thats probably what he's referring to.

I was wondering if he was referring to a knee brace of some sort.

Yep, i have a set of some '07 Thor shin/knee guards and i love them. at first they seem a little stiff while you ride, but hey man, anything to get that extra leg protection! and plus you get used to them real quick. i got my pair for about $25 from RM ATV

2007 Thor Force Knee Guards - Protective Gear Online at MotoSport
By far the top notch knee guard.

It's pretty much a knee brace, but cheaper. I've ridden with a pair, and they are super comfortable.
If I was still riding, I'd definatly have a pair in my gear bag

No. There is no real "shin" guards, the knee guards just go over the shin so that it stays in place better.
