| Not too sure about these, what is the best, or what will not be good.. so I though I would ask you guys.. Iam looking for an exhaust system, (pipe and header) for my 2004 YZ250F Im leaning towards a Pro-Circuit exhaust, maybe the Ti-4 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I will look for any type of exhaust, just need some opinions Last edited by stfaulk89; 01-12-2007 at 07:41 PM. |

| stfaulk89- Hey, I have read some very good reviews on the Akropovic system also. I have seen some of thier systems on Yamaha's and Honda's and they are some of the coolest looking systems also. The fit and finish was flawless and the write up's I have read had good things to say... All of the aftermarket systems (with the exception of Two Brothers) seem to expand the power delivery so really it seems to be a personal choice. Akropovic is not a household name so alot of people have not even heard of them, but they make a great exhaust. I would recommend checking them out. Michael Sick RM250 |

| I have hooked up with Dave Harryman at MRD Racing and have been extremely happy with his stuff. The quality and fitment is excellent, the performance is great, his warranty is unheard of and his prices are cheap. He's custom made exhausts for me as well as numerous friends of mine. He will ask you questions to determine how you want your new exhaust to perform and then he will tailor make an exhaust for you, including low/mid or mid/top headers, tuning end caps, quiet cores and spark arrestors. Not only that but he warrants the exhaust for life and will even repair/replace the system for free if you wad up and smash it up! Some people will only run the top name stuff, but I have tried all of them and have determined that the MRD stuff is just as good if not better as long as you aren't too set on having some blingy titanium or carbon fiber system. | Dave is a one man shop and can be a little slow through email so if you don't get a response right away, give him a call. Tell him that "The Baron" referred you. Trust me, after speaking with Dave in person, you'll be sold on his stuff. The guy is an engineering genius and all around cool guy. FYI - Have a good idea of what you are looking for in the exhaust when you speak to Dave. Do you want more bottom-mid, mid-top, more snap, smoother power, etc. I've known Dave to actually talk people out of an exhaust for the time being until they have a better idea of what they need, just so they get what will suit them the best. |

| On my 04 I had a full yosh pro system, I really liked it. I dynoed the bike at school it gave it about 4 hp and really changed torque curve. |
