FastCo Bar Inserts - Ride Review

Yes...another product review!

I installed the FastCo Bar Inserts on my YZ250. I am running an Applied top clamp (solid mounts) and ProTaper bars. The inserts go into the ends of the bars and then secure via the adjuster at the end of the insert. What they claim to do is reduce the vibration within the handle bars (same thing top clamps with rubber mounts claim to do). I am VERY inpressed with the way they perform. They take the "zing" out of the handle bars and give them a more "dead" feel. I can see using them on a 2 or 4 stroke bike.

They run around $40-50. I am very happy with them.

Just think if a bike had these and RG3's! Maybe TOO comfy for a dirty bike!

No, you were just holding on to the bars too tight.

Well, when it bogs then you clutch it, it tends to be kinda jumpy so you are partially correct. Been a while since I rode a 125 and it's not enough (bottom end) for my bottom end?

alright alright...I'm just teasin ya. I might consider some of those in the future, but first I think I want me a set of those 57mm pegs Satch was braggin on. Just trying to figure out how he found such a deal on them.

Char if you think about the difference between yours and Satch's feet..........I bet it will be the same apples to oranges. Remember he is running VW tires on a 18 wheeler,lol.
