That's great news on the "Worry Eliminator Kit"

I've heard the same for the crf250. '05 is looking better.

Just another update on the RHC CRF worry eliminator kit. Have over 120 hours since installation and valves are still within spec and haven't needed an adjust since the original install. Still is quiet and starts first or second kick warm, hot, or cold! My friends 05 450 is on its second set on factory valves in only 50 hours of use. He's going with RHC's kit next time, or he's changing colors!

Nice. It truly appears that the "fix" to the CRF valve problems is squarely within the RH or KW solution.

Crogg, did you ever end up with an '05 450 thumper?

What does the kit for the 250 run? I'm assuming that it's the piston, valves, springs, and retainers, right?

The one thing that holds me back from getting a 250F is the amount of head problems I've heard that they have. If I could get an eliminator kit and basically run problem free I'd go that route.

I bought an 03 KTM 525sx with a six speed and elec start with my brother, we just sold it last week. I really liked the bike, but I made a mistake and rode a couple of the newer 05 models CRF,YZF, and KTM525exc.....it spoiled me. I'm going to wait til 06 because of all the new bikes that are coming out! Right now I leaning towards the 06 YZF. The YZ's have been exceptional as far as longevity, and if it handles and runs like the CRF.... I'll buy it! But, not before riding the new Kawi and all the others!!! It's going to be a busy and fun spring next year!

Crogg, please keep us posted as your thoughts progress in this area. I will be interested to see what you end up with.

Without doubt Yamaha engines have proven themselves in the reliability arena. Now if they can get that center of gravity down and will bring that '03 and '04 "hit" that made them so infamous. The beta stuff they are doing with Voss' bike looks like they have the first part addressed. Honda is really going to have to stay on the ball to stay on top in this class. I too can't wait to see what Kawi brings to the table . . . .
