Default 99 rm 125 flat top piston

I have been looking at getting a different type of piston other than the standard dome shape that the rms come with, and was wondering if weiscos flat-top piston makes any power gains. If it doesnt then whats the point of making one? As far as I know it would decrease compression

If you fit a flat top you will need to have the head machined to suit the new piston, this is to maintain the correct squish band and compression ratio.
If you just put it in you will loose a lot of power and it will run badly.
