I have heard time and time again about oversize 57mm footpegs but never really saw the need. Well I got a deal on some (titanimum) and installed them on my YZ250. All I can say is ...WOW. They are HUGE!! Riding the bike now feels like you are standing on running boards. I never realized how small the OEM pegs were until I got the 57mm units. While riding....you feel a lot more planted. Impacts from jumps or whoops are trasnmitted more evenly than just to the arch of your foot. I could not think of voluntarily going back to the "tiny" OE pegs. I know it is one of those things (because I did it too) where you say.... "My pegs are fine". I am telling you...IF you have stock pegs...get 57mm pegs the first chance you get. The steel 57mm pegs can be had new for less than $100.

Yeah, lol, size matters when one of those beasts is being driven into the side of your leg......it hurts, i have the scars to prove it

I have Sunline stainless on both my bikes. I started out with Fastway's and I don't like those as much. I agree with Satch though...get 'em and if you don't HAVE the money, FIND the money. I did need a few rides to get used to them. They feel so different, but once you get used to them you will never go back to stock.

what size are the stock pegs? 50mm? And are those pegs just wider in width, or does 57mm mean the length that the stick out the sides on the bike?

My fastway pegs that have a camber adjustment as well as being oversize. Love em to bits. Grippy as hell and a lot easier to find some peg when your chasing the thing down to the ground

Ok..Ill bite into this 10 yr old thread. I love my Fastways also. I have ankle issues and it helps quite a bit. Feel more solid as I sky off the triples.
