I had a pretty lengthy session today on my bike with the new Tech 7's. I have to say that I like these boots. As I said the bonded on sole really helps me keep my foot from snagging the brake pedal. The buckles can be a little tough to lock down, but I think that is by design. They never come undone while you ride, I know from previous experinence with Tech 6's. My feet are size 9 and these boots feel slightly lose with a pair of "street" socks on so I can customize the fit a little by using different thickness riding socks. They are very comfortable, and broke in really quickly. Hope this helps.

Yeah thanx for the help. Do the 7's have replaceable soles?

Yes, they went back to a replaceable insert like the older Tech 6's, but the one on the Tech 7 is better. The one that used to be on the Tech 6's was only in the arch area and I always ride on the balls of my feet so it didnt' do any good. The insert on the Tech 7's goes all the way up to the balls of your feet.

Where can you buy the inserts, and I'm guessing you can insert these yourself?

According to the manual which comes with the boots the insert kit is available through any dealer, and you can install it yourself.
