I know the BTO thing sux! He just thinks sending me another 5 will be a waste of his time. He doesn't keep Oxtars in stock because he says they don't sell well.

I guess I should just get a credit and just deal with the Oxtar peeps.

I am usually a mean little !#$&*, but I this year I have been trying to see if that saying is true...

Something about getting further with sugar...heck I cant remember.

I sent them a picture of my foot all bruised up. I am hoping that will hold more weight than any words I could say.

Maybe it will wake them up to what I had to deal with.
I will give them 24 hours to respond.

But Im gonna request ummm demand my money back now from BTO

Ok I heard back

Quote:
Jenn. Send me your address and I will send you another pair of 37’s (size 5) to try out. If that does not work then I’m not sure what to tell you. If they do work I will ask that you send me the two pair of boots that do not fit so I can put them back into stock. Do not wear the ones that BTO sent you.

Sorry I was not able to talk yesterday I was busy in meetings all day.

But I will over night you the pair tomorrow and you will have them on Thursday. Call me when you get them and let me know how they fit.

Hopefully they will work.

PFFT!!!!

That word isn't even in my vocabulary when it comes to boots. I raced last weekend in my new Sidi Crossfires and never missed a shift. NOR did I ever have to "search" for the brake. Don't have any blisters either.
Sidi and SG-10 owners are 1-up on everyone else.
Please! The woman said she "thought" she had to break them in because they were too tight(wrong size). Get your hamhocks into a smaller sized Sidis or Gaernes and then I bet you feel tightness, and even may get a blister or two. Its not the boots' fault BTO keeps sending her the wrong size.

Honestly, Oxtar just has the boxes and boots inside them sized wrong.

There not consistent.

The right side boot I originally had was the perfect boot for me

Too bad it was just one side

edit

BTO isnt the least concerned with my satisfaction. Oxtar is! I can say that much!

Thats good to hear..BTO lost my business. Ive never had any issues with them but customer satisfaction should be a wee bit more important. Schwen's right I buy things like boots and helmets from my local places just so i wont have the hassles.

When you live in the boonies like me, thats not an option.

Even the biggest city and hour away doesnt have a place that carries the Oxtars.

Ok, I have to throw my .02 here. SIDI makes their boot in smaller sizes. I would ditch the OXTAR's in a heartbeat. If their service is that bad, image what their quality control is like.

The only boot Sidi makes in small sizes is the Sidi Mini Force. They only have 3 buckles and no steel toe or shank.

All the other quality boots they make start at size 7.

But they are the next on my list if the Oxtars dont work out.

You need to pay a little closer attention there, Doc. I was quoting Keeto.

MXMAMA
Did you get the comp or the Pro's?
Why not go for the size 38(or 5.5) instead of 37?

I got the Oxtar - TCX Pro 'S' Youth Boot

The last boots sent to me (ones I have now) are EU size 38 and US size 6. Thats what the tag in the boot says.
Way too big.

The box they came in says a US size 5. BUT under that label....I can see an old label that says size 6.

The first (original order) box had a the same label issue as well.
They are obviously having so MAJOR sizing issues if all the boxes have new sizing labels on top of old ones.
the Oxtar dude mentioned something about converting the sizes recently.. didnt make any sense but whatever

Did you find a chart or something.. send me the link if you did. I am curious what is says.

When I started 9 years or so ago I purchased mx boots in youth size 4, after riding a few years I decided to go up to a five and wear thicker socks. So really I am between a 4 and 5. Not a 5 and 6.

DANG... this is getting really confusing.....

can anyone follow what Im saying besides me??

I follow you, the boot tag itself should say the size it is?
I just did a search and they must have change something because the conversion charts are all over the map....doesn't make any since.

Here is Sidi's fitting page:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Go down the page on the left side and click the Boot sizing link
It won't allow a direct link.
