how to get the funky smell out

This is a discussion on how to get the funky smell out within the Riding Gear forum, part of the Product Reviews category; Is there any product that will get the smell out of my boots? fabreeze just doesn't have it! thanks...

Is there any product that will get the smell out of my boots? fabreeze just doesn't have it! thanks

Wash them. And when you ride put som GB in your socks to help absorb some of the moisture.

powerwasher and simple green and then let them dry good, I wash my everytime I done riding , I have a old rode cone and put my boots on them upside down and they dont get wet inside

oder eaters, work great, also in the off season get those moister bags, that they have. i think they are desicant, any way they eat moister, smell comes from fungi, and bateria that need moister to survie, kill the moister, kill the smell, serval of those per boot, make them air tight and first ride of the spring, will give you that freshness like new. but i know oder eaters work, i got the powder and i use it all the time.
