Question EVS Knee Braces

Do any of you have any information about the EVS Web or RS-7 knee brace? Are they any good? They seem good, but I always need a second opinion.

I currently don't have any knee problems, and don't want to, so I plan on buying 2 for preventative measures.

Here's the other reason for this post (being the cheap sucker that I am) While talking to a guy about them, I asked him if he would be willing to give me a discount if I could round up 10 or so other people to buy with me? He said he could do something like that. I asked what he could do, and he said that depending on how many we could get to buy with me, he would increase the discount, but for starters he could do $165 for the RS-7. I don't recall what he said on the Web brace. If there is interest I will find out.

I'm also thinking about the kneck brace they have. Don't know that we can get a discount on that one (maybe though), since he told me that in his opinion all riders should wear them since 80% of all kneck and upper back injuries could be avoided if people wore them (don't know the validity of this claim since he's a sales guy, but seems to make sense to me).

Go to www.evs-sports.com and check out the braces.

Any of you interested? PM me if you are.

Woody,
i do have knee problems, and would love a set, but can't afford them at the moment. From what i have heard.. CTi makes the best braces around, but at $1200 each they better be.... I think EVS Webs are $300 each... Asterisk's go for $550 a pair...
ACL reconstruction $6000, and 6 months to a year of rehab...

Let me know when you want to get them and I will probably be able to get the RS-7 or Web for you at least 15% off. I got the RS-7's for $160 (retail is $185).

Honestly, I haven't picked them up yet. With Christmas just passing, the wife wants me to wait for a little while before I get them.

I don't have a problem waiting though. It is so stinking cold here right now that I only go riding when I just can't stand it anymore.

Ya, I'm a big fan of the marriage institution, it has been good to me. I hope you find someone. I personally didn't do the single thing very well at all. I'm a much better person being married. Besides Kids are really, really cool.

I'm working on that right now. She is coming slow, but hopefully soon. Since I have 3 boys, I'm sure she will have to do something if she wants to spend weekends with us.
