I'm not too sure if i'm going to be able to get it with that price tag though..

I might end up having to go and try on every single helmet i can afford and go from there.

It seems all the helmets i like are from Fox...

Would a Fox helmet really be that bad?
Or a Thor Force??

Yeah, but for a little more i can possibly find a helmet that looks good to me, and feels good...

It's just going to take awhile.

And yes, the V3's are nice...i may go and try them on at Cycle Gear soon..since it seems it's going to be raining for the rest of the week..nothing better to do.

I have bought a couple from Helmet depot on ebay. Stay on them and you will get it but make sure you get the tracking# because that is how they ship. Take your time if you want the Veer paint scheme you can get it for under three if you're patient. The Podium is the same moto V helmet just different paint. When you get a lid that good who cares and they actually look better than the pictures. Shoei, Arai, Bell Moto 8 hard to beat. Can't believe you don't like the look of the McGrath replicas?

Bell Moto8's are $225 from Bell's site. They're really supposed to be great helmets.

I got my $365 TLD helmet off ebay for $220... so the deals are out there, you just gotta look. I'd have to say that I absolutely love my TLD.

Like everyone else said, don't go for looks, and don't cheap out on a helmet. Get something good.

I've worn Bell helmets forever, but recently bought a One Industries Trooper. I like it, alot. Vents better, and fits better then my Moto 8. They are made by KBC of course, like 98% of all helmets, but I'm really, really impressed. Arai's are great, and Shoei is too, if you like the Shoei look (not me). But I'd put the Trooper in 2nd behind the Arai.
