Default yfz450 trouble

I seem to be having a really hard with my bike its a 2004 yfz450 and it jus really seem to have a very hard time trying to start the carb has a 170 main and a 42 pilot wit stock exhaust and air intake. the carb has a aftermarket needle. The guy i bought it from did all this and it jus doesnt seem to start at all the choke work fine and i have to use it alot jus to try to start but it still stales alot to start. the clip on the needle is on the 4th setting and the air fuel screw it about 2.5 turns out any ideas of what it could be?

your jetting is in the ball park for what you got if the baffle is removed from the stock exhaust. The only guess i got is that either the carb needs a good cleaning, or the valves may need an adjustment. Just my guess. good Luck!

I think i solved the problem instead of 2 1/2 turn i just moved it to 2 turns and it seems to be starting up fine but did notice that it heats up alot faster think that might be a problem?
