Yamaha Blaster idle adjust

This is a discussion on Yamaha Blaster idle adjust within the ATV/UTV - Yamaha forum, part of the ATV/UTV Forums category; I nottice when ever im riding around on my blaster and i put it in nuetral and stop it idles ...

Icon2 Yamaha Blaster idle adjust

I nottice when ever im riding around on my blaster and i put it in nuetral and stop it idles higher kind of revs a little. should i lowwer the idle and if i should where is it.

Well, hopefully you don't have any air leaks to the carb.
If not, then the idle probably needs to be turned down to aroun 700-800 RPM or so.

Its been a few years since I've owned a Blaster, but I believe there is a screw that screws into the side of the carb (slide area).

It would REALLY be in your best interest to get a manual.

Most of your questions can be answered there along with diagrams of how everything is put together.
