This is the first I have heard of it, but my personal mechanic has my dad scared about our Warrior. We use the Warrios as our back up, mainly when or if a bike fails while on a big dirt bike trip, we use it as the fall back plan. Anyway, our mechanic told us the Warrior is known to eat cranks up and have issues with their starters. Just wanted some opinions, cause we dont have much in the old girl and wont get much out of her. If we sell her, gonna have to put some decent money with that sale to get a decent EX. Anyone heard of this, experienced it? Ryan

If you run quality oil in the machine and keep the oil frech, then your valves should be kept in check as well. If you does these things and treat it nice it'll have a long and happy caompaign under your ownership.

In my experience theyre pretty much bulletproof. Change the oil and adjust the valves, and it will run forever. Ive never heard of such problems. Try a google search to see if anyone else has.

I used to own a shop and we dealt with warriors A LOT!! We saw very little issues. When people would mod them a lot (high comp pistons, etc.), they lost a lot of dependability, but other than that they are very solid machines.
