Setting Timing on a 1999 Yamaha Big Bear 350

I am about to replace the piston rings on my 1999 Big bear 350 2wd. Can anyone tell me how to find the timing marks and properly reset the timing. Or do you know of any links to diagrams that might show how to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm having a little trouble finding any good information on this.

one is on top of the pull start there is a plug that you take it out or screw it turn engine till you see a mark the 2ed mark you remove the cover on the left hand side of the the top of the moter were the valves sit and you will see a mark on the idler pulley it is sopposed to be lined up to the top were there is another mark so all three markes line up i hope this helps
