I just installed a new rt performance exhaust [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and now have an idle problem, it shuts down after idleing for about 1min. Whats causing this? Do I have to tune the carbs because of the change in exhaust? Please hep!!

Yes, anytime you change exhaust from stock to a more free flowing system you will have to adjust your carb to compensate. Same goes for filters, cams or most any performance mod. Check with the manufacturer of the pipes, most will have recommended jetting.

Yes, it makes a clicking sound and shuts down still.
(The clicking sound is coming from the box that the fuel screw is on does this every time before shutting down.

Default 660 Raptor problems

hey everyone,
I have a problem with my 2003 660 raptor.
i got it bored and ported with a stage 2 hot cam,
full exhaust, k&n air filter and a procom rev box.
the jets are 175 left 180 right with 95 pilot.

now to the problem.
when i go riding at 3/4 throttle it boggs out real bad. everyone i talked to said its my jets.

could my problem be something more major than the jetting?
any and all help would be great.
thanks

yes your jetting is way to much for that setup
purchase a vito's jet kit and follow the guide lines and it will run perfect
