Question FOULED UP PLUG!???

i pulled my plug to make sure it was clean. it was. whats the problem then. it smelled like i used it in a boat motor. you know the watery gas smell. i dont use old gas and dont ride through water very hard to splash it up to the breather hose off the cap. could there be water going in through my silencer when i wash it? i also lift it on its butt to get under side clean(fuel shut off of course) is there anywhere it can get in that i am not aware of?

also, toomey b1 or fmf or pro circuit. which set-up is better for blaster? i've heard good things about toomey but want to go for a goog pinger sound as well as power. i was going to get an lrd but dont want to wait that long. i gotta race next week.
(four day poll on pipes)
any help is most important on either topic.
THANKS A MILLION!!!!

If your plug looks fine, I wouldn't worry about it. As far as pipes, the Toomey-B1 for sure.

Out of those I went with Toomey. Toomey has a very nice pinger sound. Toomey and Delta 2 reeds have a kick *** top end. If you still have the oil injection I highly recommend that you dont stand the bike up like that. You can get air in the system which will tear up your top and bottom end.

i went ahead and ordered the toomey. now comes the jetting process...where should i start? they give a book with their pipes but i know experiance is better than tips from a book.pilot, main, and needle????? with air box lid or use the vents they give. they give 12 1" vents for the lid. i thought about trying with lid, the w/out, then try one by one with vents. this is the first time i've done anything like this so any help is awesome.

What is the evelation that you are at? My blaster when it was running on gas took a 280 with no air box lid and a K&N filter, the needle was moved up 2 slots. We sit at about 4000 feet.

They give you a 310 main jet. That is a little bit too much though. I put a 300 main in, raised the needle one notch and adjusted the pilot screw. You wont have to adjust the needle though since yours is a new one and it has a redesigned better needle. I'm also running with the lid on with the vents in.

Yea you just adjust the pilot screw that's by the fuel inlet port. Screw it in to richen the mixture. You dont have to get a bigger pilot jet.

When you put the pipe on turn the screw all the way in till it stops. Don’t force it just screw it in slowly till it stops. Then back it out 3/4 turn. You already asked me those other questions too and I answered them in this thread: http://www.allthingsmoto.com/forums/...813#post135813
