Default Did a little shopping

I have been getting quite a few blisters from my YFZ when riding track and have decided to get a steering stabilizer. Anyone heard anything about the PEP rebuildable one? That's the one I bought, hope she does the trick. I hope it helps with my arm pump too.
I also bought some ITP T-9 Baja rims for my 18" ITP MX tires that I've had forever.

Haven't heard a thing, but I'm sure you'll love the steering stabalizer since the quad certainly has more head shake due to hitting bumps etc on one tire and not the other. I'm really excited to try it.

Awesome! Should help the head shake out enormously!

It won't do a thing for blisters but it will do everything for control. You will love waht it does especially at a place like St. Anthony in the sand. I won't ever own a bike without having one on it now that I own one. It really helps keep the bike under control when hitting rocks or sharp ruts and in sandy conditions where the front wants to follow whatever groove is in the sand.

Actually DBD, it will help with blisters a LOT. When the bars get ripped out of your hands etc. 4 wheelers on a track are not even close to motocycles on a track.

The stabilizer was $145 shipped on Ebay. It should definitely help with blisters. Sometimes when I come off of jumps and I land crooked, it will rip the bars in my hands and I have felt it rip blisters.

I haven't used one on a Raptor, but my buddy had one on his 400EX and had excellent results, so I would imagine you'd get the same on a Raptor or any quad for that matter.

Got my baja rims today. They look sweet. Took my tires and rims over to Les Schwab and got them installed for $10, so now I can go try them out this weekend.

Awesome. i can't wait to ride it with the new tires. Those buggers should really get some good bite.

Get the sprocket yet?

I have the sprocket, but I'm not going to put it on until I try the stock gearing first. I think the stock gearing may be okay for Goshen, for how tight it is.
Technically the tires are not new. They are about 80% tread, so I don't expect any better than my stock tires, I just hope it helps the cornering a little.

I'd bet they will be better. A lot more nobs on the ground. Guess we'll see.
