What size carb? the .020 over bore doesnt really help with power. If the porting doesnt match the pipe and carb it wont make good power. Its all about the right combo. With the right combo you can make a blaster fly. With a 3mil stuffer crank, a 30-33mil carb, and porting you could be making upper 30's low 40's to the wheels!!! Surprise the crap out of a stock 450, thats for sure lol.

ok so now im thinkin the engine is also getting pretty hot, compared to our other one atleast .. could the timing being to advanced or retarded cause power loss and over heating and still allow the engine to run good??

I was going to say, wtf dude lol. Give me a ct sonic 240bb cylinder and Ill show you 60hp+ of rip snortin banshee eating blaster power lol. Drag only of course.

Are you sure the jetting is right, do a plug chop. You might be lean. That will kill power and make it hot. Do you have an adjustable stator plate? That would be the only way you would have to much advance, actually blasters like a little advance.
