You'd have to look at how much slack you have available in your chain. If you can back off the chain adj a little, you'd probably be able to get away with it. If your chain is fairly tight, and you have no room to back off, you probably would not be able to do it. My guess (and this is only a guess) is that you would probably be able to do it, but like I said, it depends on whether you can back the tension off or not.

The Blaster is really restricted in air flow, the carb is way too small so if you ever wanted to go faster than what you are going now you need to up the size of your carb to at least a 34 to 35 mm. There was a really good article in the Jan edition of Dirt Wheels that talked alot about it. They gave horse power gains for all the different mods you can do. My Blaster will get up to 68 with stock gearing and 21 inch rear tires and a little methanol , so it is possible.

well 70 is a real number to reach.stock blasters run around 50.ive bult 27 blasters to date .im currently building a alcohol hill climber.if u wanna reach ur goals and at a decent price deck ur head .010 or more no more then .020 increase ur sprocket to either a 13 or 14 with 21 inch wheels i run 22s on most of mine and regular fuel wont cut it switch to race fuel98 plus i run 118 and use a synthetic 2 stroke oil it works oo so much better in my bikes and it would help to port it out not only the intake thats all the places seem to do u need to to exhuast as well its great the bike can take all the air and fuel in but it has to leave.u should be right around ur goal and then some ull have more power then 90 percent of the bikes on the trail . most of this work u cold do if ur not scared but be prepared to do tunning to the carb which i normaly run 35mm or bigger and if u or they port too much then ur going to need to change the timing and buy a ricky stator plate. blasters are a great bike that are very reasonable but it takes a lill work for them to shin over the the other bikes .the joe t

Now first reall quick, on your tires you have an off brand 18", if your going to be riding a lot of trails your going to want 20"s and if your doing mx your going to want 18"s. Before you start spending money on a chain and sprockets get stuff in line first.
