aftermarket steering stem ?

well I rollled the quad and need to get a stem . was wondering if anyone has tried these so called OEM aftermarket stems out ? local dealer wants $120.00 and the aftermarket is $81.00 shipped , your feedback is much appricated .

What kind of quad is it for? You can usually find a used stocker on the forums or Ebay.

What is the brand of the aftermarket stem? That sounds dang cheap to me.

those are tha ones i was lookin at , its for my 03 raptor .

That's a stock OEM Yamaha stem. It isn't an aftermarket stem. That's the typical price for an OEM stem. You could try looking on bluetraxx.com for a used OEM stem.

this roll over that happened was like nuthin but bent the stem ...i got strong Trail Tech bars , if i had sum cheep bars the stem woud'nt have gotten bent . what are your guys thought on this ? i do luv the Trail Techs though .

The same thing happened to me with my trail techs, but I wouldn't trade them. The bars were excellent. With cheaper bars you probably would have bent both. I also bent many a stems on my Raptors with stock bars too.
