Default 660 raptor starting problems

i have a 2001 raptor 660r. it is having problems starting. sometimes the only way it will start is by taking the air filter out and putting your hand over the right side carb. but once it is running it starts right up.every thing on it is stock.

If I remember right the right side carb is the primary carb for the raptor. I know you said that you cleaned the carb but did you take carb cleaner and spray down through all of the holes that the jets screw into to make sure that no gas is gummed up in it. also check to make sure that your choke is working right. Or the best solution is to get rid of the crapy factory carb and get an Edelbrock carb. Best purchase I made for my 02 Raptor. Hope you get it fixed
