Default 500cc Shifter Kart - (KX500 on a racing go kart) NEW PRICE****

I'm not sure what forum to put it in, so I'm gonna do both

Well, its for sale. Spent over a year putting this thing together. Low hours on top end and motor is very strong. Clutch is strong. Anything that was welded, was welded to survive. This kart is most certainly crude, but I did not build it to be pretty, and the parts I fabricated are solid. I built it to be crazy fast, and unfortunately, I did not realize how fast crazy fast was... I have not taken the kart past third gear, the acceleration is too much for me to handle...

Problems - Runs fine... If you want to, you can switch back to a regular kart tank - I am including both the extra tank, and a proper fuel pump...

Check my gallery for pics, or ask for them here (post here) and I will email you some

This kart is a very serious kart... If you are under 15 don't waste your time...

Engine - 88 KX500 - water cooled
Chassis - ZF Eagle Kart
Brakes - Brand new Ridolfi master, and Energetics caliper
Custom mounts for Engine, shifter, etc.
Spare (go kart type) gas tank, spare seat, 2 cycle oil, mixed fuel, fuel pump for regular tank, and some other parts...

Price is $1500 US... BUY BEFORE IT GOES ON EBAY... NEED THE GARAGE SPACE
MAKE ME AN OFFER - NEED THIS GONE ASAP

If you are serious and want more info - email me - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

$2000 US - I am buying a slower kart and need this one gone...

This machine will do over 130 mph as it sits. It will get to 100 mph in under 7 seconds.

The motor alone is worth AT LEAST $1200 with carb, electronics and pipe

Brakes alone are worth over $200

Rolling kart $600

Racing Seat $100

If you know of anyone looking for a thrill, this is it.
If the kart does not sell for this price, it will go on ebay with a similar reserve.

Danny

Racing karts run on the same philosophy of that of bikers. You want to be thrown...

I'll just have to take your word for it. I'm sort of thinking the only thing I want to leave at 130 mph is an airplane. (With my parachute on of course)

130mph is a gross underestimate btw... With the proper gearing, 180mph is probably more realistic... I wouldnt try that without balancing the motor first...

I would love to have a go on That.

180mph though : that's ridiculous... try getting it up to that speed!
and 0-100 in under 7 sec's... it's got to be The Fastest thing on 4 wheels.
If I were you I'd put another KX500 motor on the other side, just to balance it out. and give it a bit more power to weight. :

A properly tuned 250 with about 50 horses, if geared properly will do 180mph. I dont think it is far fetched for a kart with an extra (at least) 10-15 horses to go as fast...

And, dont believe me on the 100 in under 7 secs? Come out here and take it for a spin...

And, if you really think im bsing, we can race, and you can watch (rear view of course) as my 500 spits burned chunks of rubber all over your helmet...
