Default Suzuki rmx 250

     

1998 Rmx 250.
Question on the severaty on damage to the motor. Change muffler to procircut ,and had a good vibration throughout the bike and I put rubber washers on all points of bolt on. Cowinsidenc . Road trails 4 hrs over the last 2 weeks and yesterday started nocking bad,shut it down and pushed out of woods .will still start, just nocks. I'm taking it's time for a overhaul.

Sounds like a crank bearing or possibly lower rod bearing issue most likely. So yes, it's time to open it up and see what's going on.

Started the bike up and it ran fine in the garage and around the yard for 10 minutes, no nocking would that be the bearings in lower end still that have to warm up then nock. I'm going to rebuild top and bottom for my own sence of mind and don't want it to do it again in the woods or have it really let go.

Found out on the knocking,not good warped crankshaft, bearings and top end .if any one knows where I can locate a new crankshaft for this 1998 rmx 250 it would be greatly appreciated.will check back later .thanks again in advance.
