Default Rm250 1996 starting problem

Hello there, i'm having problem with my bike to start.
I notice that my bike is actually easier to start without choke when it is cold. If i do choke it, it get flooded quite fast. If i let my bet run on idle for too long, it get flooded and wont start again. So when i want to stop it, i ussually rev it a little before and then it will be easier to start when hot. I looked at my plug after going full throtle in 1st,2nd,3rd and quickly stoping it and it has the perfect brownish color.
After reading few of the topic at ATM, i found out i should probably get a lower number pilot jet and lower my float height. Do you guys think i'm looking in the right way?

For sure, while opening the carb to change float height and jet, i would clean it also. So i was on the right path...

I change the spark plug regulary (since i keep fouling them!) and i keep my air filter quite clean but i do belive that i have a tendencie to put too much oil on it...

be carefull with that 48, when i had my 96 it ran great but it was actually leaner than i thought which cause some minor problems that I caught before they got worse. I think i ended up with a 52 pilot once said and done. 96 Rm250's were always a pain to get jetted right.
