Exclamation RM125 Engine Blown HELP!!

Was riding my 01 RM125 the other day and it had a fresh top end with only 1 hour on it and suddenly I turned and shifted down to first and was letting go of the clutch and once i went to accelerate it seemed like it just windded out and sank in RPM's untill it was completely stopped. Tried to re-crank it but nothing worked. Sounded like a bubbling sound in the cylinder like there was alot of liquid in there or something. Any tips would be nice

I would take a compression ck. first, Then take off the head and look at piston, and cylinder and go from there. Could have been a couple things, Didn't have to hot a plug? run too lean, head gasket? Just suggesting some places to start. Keep us informed. Hope it goes well and doesn't cost you to much.! .....Jerry

What CC is say is:don't tear down the top end as it may be a simple problem then a blown top end.

Try and kick the bike over and see if it "feels" like the compression is gone. If you can kick it over with your hand.....then you will have to do a tear down.

If you have a compression tester...Take a reading and see what your getting.

You can also pull the pipe off and shine a flash light in the cylinder to see whats going on.

good luck

Well usually any 2 stroke can be turned over with your hand. But I'll check the simple things first and go from there. I'll keep info posted
