Suzuki Engineers: Hmmm, the aluminum frame doesn't work too well. What else can we do? Suzuki Marketing: How about new stickers? We'll think of a slogan to go with it!! We're all geniuses!! |

| That frame was supposed to come out in 97 along with a one-off swingarm that was "kinked" it never happened though perhaps they had problems with it breaking, like Kawasakis 05' First Gen. KX450F.. |

| I hope Suzuki come out with an aluminum frame RM250 next year, same for Kawasaki. It's about time all of the 250's got Ali frames. Yamaha have got it right! ...oh, and Honda I suppose. |

| It's simple and why the never did long before look at the frame closely and compare it to a newer design. You'll see on that RM there's tubing everywhere vs a new design that use's castings or forgings/extrusions. The technology was there but it was to exspensive on a mass production scale if that bike would have come out in '91 it would have costed like $9000 that was alot when a 250 was like $4000 new otd. That bike was a last of a dying breed better known as a works bike test mule "one off" it was never going to see production. I wish I had a better scanner I'd scan the pic's out of this MXA from '95 that had a steel premiter framed CR 250 with convential works showa forks. ***Plus I only first saw the yellow and aluminum I thought it was an '07 you suck!
