Guess the age of the RM 250 !

Hi.Got an rm 250 in the uk so no vin number,was told that it was 90/91 but engine number begins J110 and frame number begins RJ15A !! Can any one help me .thanks sarah.
PS i need engine parts so that age is the one i m looking for .

Just been through this with my yamaha serow frame and engine not matching but got that one sorted so here s hoping many thanks

The engine number is j110 102396 and the frame is rj15a 101499. Hope that helps.

hi there i also have rm250 and my engine number starts with j10 and it iz 1988 hope this may help cheers

if it helps i raced a 1994 for a few years and the chassis no. on that began rj16a not sure on engine numbers tho.

the yr letter for 91 is M and 94 is R

Measure your fork tubes
1990 had 41mm and 1991 had 45mm
