gas overflowing

1992 RM 250, gas comes out of bottom overflow hose ONLY when the bike is running. As soon as it shuts off it stops. Doesn't leak when the petcock is open either?

I kind of have the same thing going on...but my gear oil is milky and it come out the bottom I think its called the overflow nasty milky **** ......

First thing I did when this happened to me is took apart the carb and cleaned every bit of it with carb cleaner, What happens sometimes is a little bit of dirt will get on the end of the needle, and keep gas pouring in your carb.

While your in there you have to check float heights as well.
