Default Carb trouble

I am having trouble with my 01 rm125. When i turn the gas on gas poors out of the carb hose coming out of the bottom of the float. What could cause this. I also have the same trouble with an old rm 80 and I have had the carb apart many times and cleaned it and it still does it on this old rm. I haven't had the 01 apart yet.

Sounds like the float is stuck. Do you have an inline fuel filter to get the trash? I would probably say it was either trash or you may have to adjust the float. Good Luck.

You have dirt between the needle and seat, or the the needle and seat needs replaced...remove the float, the needle will hang from a spring, this allows the fuel into the bowl, clean there and blow free with compressed air.

Check the tank breather hose. Also make sure all your all you carby vents are clear, they often get clogged up which will create excessive pressure in your carb.
