Cool 1986 RM 80

Hi,
I have problems with my son's old rm. It would appear that the fuel is being mixed with coolant in the combustion chamber. I have changed the cylinder base gasket twice now, because I think the coolant is leaking across into the chamber from one of the waterways at the front of the crankcases. I have assembled the barrel, clean, with no gasket with engineering blue compound to find any high/low spots, all looks ok.
The barrel is a brand new 82cc unit bought from Suzuki Japan. The bike has been running fine for several months, but refuses to start now after a winter lay off. Any ideas?
Thanks guys.

where the two halfs of the motor come together... that could be the issue. the water pump system has passageways that travel right next to the crank chamber. if the gasket was bad the fluid could seep into the bottom end.

Moto My 1987 RM80

I have a 1987 RM80 I just purchased. I was just wondering what type of oil to use in the gearbox? Any ideas?

I also have an rm 80 1987. Are they rare of something? I cant find much info on them, lots on 86 and 88, but not even a manual for the 1987?
