Default unable to split cases 82 ke125

Hi to everyone. Just new, Have tons of bikes both street and dirt and the ke125 is the latest project.
Usually I don't have many problems pulling an engine apart but this ones a pain. It has a bad case of spooge so I took to rebuilding it. Problem is the shifter bar is bent and won't let me split the cases.I want to hit it big time but am afriad to damage something else.
Anyone with experience on that shaft know if it'll come out after removing the seal. I't going to get new seals anyway, but if the hole behind the seal if the same size then it still won't work and I'll have to bend it back somehow.

TIA
Mike
