Default kx100 & kx85 compatible?

Will the kx85 body parts fit a kx100? What's the difference between the 85 and 100? Thanks

Well first of all I've heard that some parts will fit, but not every part. Second the KX100 has bigger wheels (16in. rear and 19in. front) and is just like an 85 but has a 100 kit in it basically. I think that's all the difference, it's taller because of the wheels of course, and a little heavier, but that's all. Go to

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and it will tell you if you look up what parts go on the kx100, it will tell you what other bikes they fit too.

The swingarm is longer on the 100, but I believe the plastic interchanges.

Hey I just noticed that on my bike, it doesnt have the front left plastic. Can anyone tell me why the 2000 models don't have this? Is there anyway I can put one? I was looking for screw holes around the frame but there was nothing. Help?

The one that's suppose to be on the gas tank. Look at this....it's like my bike, no plastic....[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] .....compare that to this.....[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

oh you mean the shroud. They have shrouds, are you sure it wasn't taken off? Look on the gas tank, it may have holes somewhere, they wouldn't be on the frame

The only reason the newer mini's have two shrouds is too make them look like there older siblings. The original plan was for dual radiators. Minis only have one. That is except for the sx85
