| OK guys this one is a little tricky and will need all the tuning technical support i can get. OK THE BIKE - Cr125 2000ish year i think HISTORY OF BIKE - was a very fast bike back in its day after 4 years in peices i decided to try and revive the machine PROBLEMS SO FAR - Who ever sleeved the barrel did a **** job Exaust Valve - Jammed on some angles beause machinest, after machining up a spacer and modifying the Flaps seems to work fine now Cylinder head is being machined to boost cop will be back tomorrow to check Squish Clearance. once is checked i will update post with my Comp pressure. Now please please please some advice on tuning this machine Current parts Cr125 2000 - 2002 Barrel has been ported originally then sleave has been put in to fix, Exaust ports are a little larger so power valves when down have a little gap which i should be able to adust. Pro Circut Pipe and muffler, V Force Delta 3 reeds, Vortex mod Ignition. Fueled By A 2008 CR250 PJ Carby with sensor hooked up prox piston and rings With everybodys knowledge i think it will go ok. with the Cr250 Carby off 1998 md can anyone suggest a nice jetting mixture for my bike? Any Other Mods you could consider please msg me or add to this, CARBY JETTING INFO PLEASSSEEEEE |

| Before you worry about the carb I would have a machinist or a well known cylinder porter check that jug out to see if it is junk or not. Who knows how much material was removed to get that bike to scream for a few hours of life. If it is junk, just get a new one and have it ported mildly. Your exhaust valve may be shot too if things are as bad as they sound. After you figure that out, you can set your sights on the carb. | Not to sound like an A$$ but why is it everyone shaves the head and not re chambers it? Why would you want to increase squich when you can get more psi with shaving and rechambering. read my thread Shaveing and re chambering a head READ |

| I doubt you will like that carburetor very much. In 98 most were unhooking the wiring and going with a richer needle. Not knowing how much your other mods are affecting it, I would say get savy on plug reading and start with a 180 main jet and one of the richer 1368 series needles if you feel you just have to try to revive a carburetion "mistake". If y ou are not looking for top end out of that one, I would suggest a 35mm Keihin with NO electronics. Seems like you are dealing with the current cylinder, but I would have my eyes open for a nonsleeved one, until I had one. |
