that metal probaly fell into the gears as it is piston,i was moving the engine round with the case half of,were cud the metal be? the crank turns freely now shud i used compressed air and blast all the crank ,maybe ill find some more metal doing that!! any ideas!! transmission looks almost new!! thanks

do you have a manual from the factory or another reputable company?if you do, follow the overhaul procedures,if not, get one.it would be too time consuming to have someone walk you through an entire engine overhaul. 2 key points to look for on cr250 engines are the shift forks and third and fourth gear engagement dogs on the gears.these are the parts that seem to wear out first good luck

evrything looks good in the engine no wear or nuthing,i will get a manual,tonight ill finish gettin the metal out of the crank,thanks kuritaro9
