well i dont know how high up from sea level your riding at but for around 2500-5000 and 39-60 degrees f we should be running
air screw 2.1/4 turns out
slow jet 58
clip 3rd groove
main 170

but i have made a hole in the air box to help the bike breath better so i screwed the air screw in a 1/4 turn.

any other questions on your 92 just ask me cause the 92 is very similar to mine.

hope that helps m8 =]

You and I can get along! I see 45-70 Gov't in your user name. I happen to have a Marlin Century Limited 1895 model 100 year commemorative model. My Dad has two custom made 45-70 rifles with Unertle scopes. One has a real heavy target barrel that's at least 2" diameter and the other has a smaller barrel for easier carrying for hunting. I'll try to get pictures this weekend of them all for you.

Ahh, and that's one clean CR500 you got there!

Thanks 2kHondaCR500R,

I have a couple of 45/70s, one is a Marlin 1895 and the other is a Ruger #1. I like to own old/odd/different guns. I just bought my 500 in October so I have not got the chance to ride it much, but that will change now that hunting season is ended. I would like to see pictures of your 45/70s.

Here you go.... 2kHondaCR500R Gallery - All Things Moto! Member Photo Gallery

I uploaded the 1895 45-70 Gov't
Mossberg 835 Ultimag (shot barrel and slug)
Beretta limited 9mm & knife (#1 of 1000)
Knife collection with Benchmade, Kershaw knives, and a baby Gerber.
Older pic with:

Mossberg 890 9 shot pump 12ga w/ ghost ring sites

Winchester 270 with Leupold all mossy oak camo

Remmington 30-06 with scope

Benelli M3 Super 90 with ghost ring sites, 8 shot. It has the pump selector ring or you can lock it and use it as an auto-loader.

Weatherby Mark5 sporter 30-06 with Leupold VX-III 8.5-25x50mm Long Range Target (expensive scope!)

Ruger 10-22 my Dad bought me for passing to the 5th or 6th grade of I recall correctly. It's had so many bricks of ammo shot through it I'm surprised it's not worn out. It used to have a folding stock, heat shields, and a break down scope mount, but I got tired of that and put a target barrel on and a real scop mount for the Leupold.

Junky SKS to the right (I don't like it, but it's fun to waste ammo through).

Glock model 23 40cal with high cap clip

The Beretta 9mm

Also have a Savage .308 to the right of the SKS but that old AOL camera wasn't wide enough to get it in the shot standing on the couch. lol

The first gun I ever bought was that camo .270 Winchester when I was 18 (31 now).

I'll get pics of my Dads custom 45-70's this weekend. He's a real gun fanatic with one full room at his house dedicated to all his home made reloading tables with loading presses bolted to them, stacks of rcbs dies, books, powder, magazines, etc.
