question on race pipes

I doubt it. DG makes replica pipes that are the same size and shape but are made out of stronger metal for older bikes. They also look nice too.

most MXers change their exhaust port shapes every few years to keep on top of their game. it'd take alot of mods.

not only would it not fit it would more tan likely not work very well is it did. the pipes are designed to work with specific cylinder volumes, port timing, etc.

Yeah, after a couple of days grinding and welding you may be able to make it work, but like Yardpro said, they design the exhaust pipe to work with a certain motor so you would probably be down on power. Your best bet (as Dell said) would be to check out DGs pipes or E-bay.

If you have it handy try it for the heck of it, if you just need something to put on so that you can ride. A 93 cr 250 will allow you to mount a pipe for a 2000 on it,,but yours is a further stretch.

i had a Pro Circuit Platinum pipe on my 84 cr500...so maybe they had them in 83 for cr125....ebay is your friend...
