Default Powder Coating Color Red CR500

I've read somewhere on the forum, but can't find it. I have a 89 CR500, can someone tell me the closest color match, RAL number? I think I seen on here a "Fighting Red" or something like this. Your help is appreciated, thanks in advance

I still have a bunch of my Dirt Bike magazines, and the keep
saying it is "Blood Red"..
Fighting Red sounds more accurate though.

Did you find the right color for 89. Iím needing the RAL for my 87 restore. Iíve seen RAL2001 49/24560. Itís red/orange and I think I might go with that. My bike is definitely not the R119 color rite red

base 1090 -
color 2163

Here's a note from Dogger about PC for the CR 500's

"Looks like a good project!

I don't have an exact powder match for Fighting Red, there is so little call
for it. I'll be happy to color match it for you. If you want to go that route,
send me a small bracket or piece that has the OE color on it and I'll see if
I can come up with a PC match.

As for the RALs you mentioned, 3020 is called Traffic Red and is real close
to Honda's Tahitian Red just not as Orange. Super Mirror Red is a better
match for Fighting.

What I usually tell folks that just want the bike to look good and close to
original, pick the powder that best matches the brand of plastic and seat
cover you decide to go with. If you decide to do an authentic Fighting Red
color match for the frame and then bolt on aftermarket plastic and seat
cover, the two colors may be miles apart. This happens all the time with
Flash Red.

By the way, the 89 can be a great bike with some suspension work. It came
with a very good engine and typical Honda ergos and handling. Hopefully the
shop you sent the suspension to will get it sorted correctly.

Good luck with it.

This should get you close!
