Please Help Clutch not releasing on a cr80r

I have a 1980 Honda cr80r. The clutch does not realease when I squeeze it. the cable is not broke and I've had the motor apart to try and figure it out. Please someone help me.

a bit more info would be helpful....a question i have is when your pulling in the clutch and realize it wont disengage the clutch...is the bike COLD....or is this after a good run when the bikes hot / warm?

if the bike has been sitting and its cold and in gear and you try to pull the lever in...youl find its still in gear..reason for this is the clutch is a WET system..the oil creates friction between the plates and when cold is very "tacky"...this wont allow the plates to slip past one another..if you manualy locate "neutral"..warm up the bike a couple seconds...giving it a blip or 2...it will get the oil moving around the plates in the clutch and allow them to freely move
