| I have 97 CR250, put a new piston in it, and got the cylinder honed. Started up in one kick. Now here is my question, I am going out tomorrow riding for the weekend, What should I expect??? I am noticing a lot of smoke even when warm. I don't have to rejet as the jetting is perfect. Thanks |

| "started up in one Kick".. Did you go through the proper break-in procedures? Here's a link for any questions. Engine Break-In I just finished a top end and followed this and have had no problems, and no excessive smoke. Did you do the hone/piston replacement? Did you check the bore size/ring gap etc.? If you do a search you should find plenty of previous discussions on this topic. Good luck. |
