Default new CR 480 project

     

i bought this from an idiot that thought it would be cool to coat everything with spray paint so as you can see i have alot of clean up to do it came with a motor but the case is cracked butttttt comes with new case so in alll after i strip it down and make her shine and put it back together id say not a bad buy for 70 bucks

you got a lotta work ahead of you. how will you get the paint off everything?

Ill ship the frame off Friday fir sandblast and paint and ill use tons of paint remover with lots of scrubing

My dad has 2 of these bikes sitting behind our shed rotting away. Think youve inspired me to start a new project tommorow! He always said how much he loved em, then I was born and that and the street bike never got ridden again haha

yeah i started striping down the paint and the bars are in perfect shape they are iodizided blue renthal bars i have no idea why you would paint them

In my experience, bikes painted like that are stolen or, have been stolen in the past.
