![]() Alright guys, I am in the market for a 2002 or newer CR250. I also have in my possession, a PWK carb off of a 2000 Yamaha YZ250. How can I tell if this carb would work in place of the Mikuni on the CR? The only numbers I can find on the carb are: 5HC 000B3 (the "B" might be an "8") I have a couple different slides, many jets and needles so if this would work on my "future" CR, I will hang onto it. Can you help me out? Thanks, Joe |

![]() i've swaped a mikuni for a kiehin before,on the one i did,i went from a round slide old style mikuni to a cresant slide.the only real problem i had was the throttle cable end is different for switching over to the pwk.was a simple fix though, the mikuni cable end is much larger than the keihin(sp?)...you can easily mod the end to fit with a little patience and a file. i have a 03 cr250,and it has the TMX,it does great,no complaints about it....so far. |
