| I'm buying a honda cr 250 from somebody who only has the engine number. the frame tag is missing. It's between a 74 and a 79. Is there a chart anywhere that you can plug an engine number into and come up the the model year? This engine number is: CR 250 ME-2003037 Any help appreciated!! |

| That serial number corresponds to a 1975 CR250 M1. Quote:
CR250ME-2000001 - 2005487 making yours a mid production motor. Quote:
The frame serial is engraved in the head tube. Look closely at the head tube because enough coats of paint or powder coating will render the engraving nearly invisible. The number will be CR250M-2000001 - 2005439 if the frame and engine are numbers matching. Hope this helps. dogger |
