Default help....cr125 95 not starting

hi, quite new to this forum but recently got a 95 cr125, it went fine for 1st hours use but then as i set off to go round the track again it was just about to hit 1st powerband then died on me like no fuel getting through. I was having some problems with a faulty kill switch and a wobble/prod of it was doing the trick to get it running again. The rings needed doing so put new piston/rings/gaskes in and have had carb to bits n blown thru all jets/holes. It tries to start but only runs for a few seconds, and if u try to throttle it the revs just bog down and it cuts out aswell. Ive put fresh fuel in at 40:1, a new kill switch, new plug and new air filter in...pls help as i cant use it after only owning it for a week . cheers

I just had the same situation. I bought a 95 125 from a kid who used it for motocross but didnt want 2 fix it when it crashed. Rebuilt the whole thing, then the next time I went 2 use it, it wouldn't start. What kind of plugs and oil are you using? I changed the oil mix to 32:1 with HP2 oil, and bought a new plug BR9EG... the competition plug.... and it started first kick. The plug costs like 5 bucks more, but it is totally worth it. Let me know how it goes.

Ive heard that the "es" plus get grimy very fast, but keeping you enging on high rpm, if not at least rush the motor sometimes when your driving to blow of the black "grimy?" on the plug. Sorry bad english, hope you understand grimy.. its when the plug gets dark
