Default Difference between Exhaust Bridge and Power Valve

I ordered a Wiseco Pro-lite piston for my 97 cr250 and it states that the piston needs holes drilled in it for 2 cycles with a exhaust bridge, I Dont think i need to drill holes in mine, but ive been wrong more than once in my life!

Thanks
Brad

If the exhaust port has a vertical 'bridge' running down the centre of the exhaust port then yes you need those holes!!!!!!!

A bridge is vertical not horizontal and the 97 doesn't have an exhaust bridge.

look thru exhaust port if there is 2 halves as the exhaust exits its a bridge.think of a power valve as a hose at the end u put your finger a little over the end the water comes out strong.thats kind of what the flapper dose as exhaust exit . those holes on piston if the bike has a n exhaust bridge are for cooling.
