I know someone else had asked about replacing crank seals AND bearings and the case needed to be split to do that. I think I just need to replace the crank seals after talking to a few people. Is there anyway of doing this without splitting the case? It is a 2000 CR125. Thanks.

Yeah to replace the crank seals you dont' have to split the cases or even remove the motor from the frame. I started a thread about replacing them, just do a search. You will need a flywheel puller, and a impact gun. You can check to see if you need bearings by trying to wiggle the flywheel and main gear Good Luck.

Ohh yeah you can screw a wood screw into the old seals to remove them. And when you install them make sure u install them to the correct depth.
