 Cracked/Seized Master Cyl Piston. '03 CR250 Have any of you guys had a piston crack or seize in the master cylinder on a bike? I 've had it happen to me on autos before, specifically on old Land Cruisers, but never on a bike. It seems like the throw has gone out of my front brake, the lever is barely budgin. It has a wee bit, and still works the front brake a bit, but it seems to not stop as well. I could just be delirious, but swear the lever isn't moving as far as it was. It's like the piston goes a tad then stops hard. The pads are in great shape, and the system has no air in it, bleeding is for the opposite prob anyway...  |

| Re: Cracked/Seized Master Cyl Piston. '03 CR250 Could be a damaged o-ring on the plunger. You might just take it apart and check that. Rebuild master cyl. kits aren't that expensive. |
