![]() Was out riding yesterday was a very muddy track and all of a sudden started to bog a little! Then after a while it just wouldn't hit band at all it's strange never experience anything like this before! It's just he a full rebuild about 10 hours riding ago not raced just casual riding every Saturday! Remember when I first bought the bike it spluttered on top end so I dropped the carb needle down one notch! Could it be this ? Even though Iv never had a problem since doing that it's rode bang on |

![]() Yes, it could be as the engine was working very hard in the mud. Paw PAw |

![]() Gave the carb and airbox a good clean out and moved the needle back to stock and I'll see how it is! If it's same I'll do top end! Could the needle being moved be the reason why my plug is really oily |

![]() Crank seals good? You need to do a compression test, a leak test and a vacuum test. Have you checked the float height in the carb? Paw Paw |

![]() Not sure tbh they was done when the top end was done I don't have a clue how to do that lol I get my friend to to rebuilds for me! I can do a top end that's all. Carb seems all good to me ---------- Post added at 11:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:54 PM ---------- Just had a quick look at barrel through exhaust port and can see a little mark on barrel more like a dent than a score. But compression still feels how it did before this problem came along and it still stars first kick anyone ever experienced something like that without it affecting the compression ? |
